Information Regarding New Law for Broker's License

  • If you obtained your salesman license prior to October 1, 2005 and have a minimum of 4 years experience out of the previous 6 by April 1, 2008 your license will convert to a provisional Brokers license until to show proof of the 4 years of experience. The details of this have not yet been told to us. Once you meet the requirements, your license will be converted to a Broker's license.
  • If you obtained your salesman license prior to October 1, 2005 and do not have 4 years experience out of the previous 6 by April 1, 2008, your license will convert to a provisional Brokers license and you must complete a 24-hour Broker Transition course between April 2006 and April 2008. This course will not be offered until after April 2006. Or you can take the 60-hour Broker course prior to April 1, 2006.
